Classic Boudoir
Can I tell you something? Stop making excuses and do it!
Booking a boudoir experience is a *big deal*. Every single time one of you says “YES!” to yourself and this experience, I am reminded of this. It is so BRAVE to step outside of that oh-so-safe comfort zone, to stand in front of a stranger (with a camera–the same one you’ve spent your life trying to avoid!) to do this.
But ya know what? This experience is nothing like you are thinking. When most women think of boudoir, they think of things like:
-‘Sounds fun, maybe when I lose 10, 50, 100 lbs.’
-‘Oh hell no, I’m not rolling around in my underwear for a perfect stranger–another woman no less!’
-‘I don’t even let my husband see me in the light! No way, not for me!’
-‘I have no idea how to pose or be sexy. Pretty sure I don’t have a sexy bone in my body.’
-‘All of the other women in these images look fantastic, but I don’t look like them. No WAY she could make my butt look good.’
Sister, I’ve heard it ALL and it’s totally normal to feel like boudoir is a scary thing that would be impossible for you to enjoy or experience. BUT–99% of the fears that are holding you back are MISCONCEPTIONS. You don’t need to change, you don’t need to know how to pose for the images, and you ABSOLUTELY CAN pull off images just like this. There is POWER in my posing/lighting knowledge–it’s why I SPECIALIZE in this very specific, highly niché genre of photography. Posing women is what I am FANTASTIC at (unlike painting, cooking, or twerking).
Around here, we celebrate the fact that we are imperfect just like you. We welcome your mess, and we will unpack ours too. No matter what part of this experience you are afraid of–you are totally ready for this experience right now, just as you are.
You can spend five minutes being TERRIFIED as you book your shoot, or spend the rest of your life kicking yourself that you didn’t do it. What’s it gonna be? Another why not or make the change and stop making excuses and do it?

Classic Boudoir
I believe you were born for an incredible purpose-you are special. I believe you were given a great story.
In a world where you share a birthday with 19 million people, it’s easy to feel like you aren’t anyone particularly special. You have the same hair color and pant size as thousands of other women, or maybe you look up from your windowless office into a sea of other cubicles. You feel like just a number–like your mundane day-to-day doesn’t amount to anything impactful.
But underneath that common hair color is a pair of eyes that made him breathless….the ones he searches for in a crowd, the ones that he stayed awake thinking about on the day he met you.
And your arms..while they also look ordinary, they are the only arms that can comfort your sick baby in the middle of the night–the arms that curl her hair for her school picture, the arms that wave wildly when he scores his first touchdown. They fold the clothes, wash the dishes, cook meals, clean the house–they keep your family functioning and feeling cared for.
Your laugh–you think it’s too loud & obnoxious, but it’s the laugh that your best friend could pick out of 500 laughs with her eyes closed. Your infectious laugh was sometimes the only light on her very darkest days. It’s what she’s going to remember when she’s old, looking back on all the life she has lived.
Your heart–it beats just like everyone else’s, but only yours can give and pour into your people with your super special brand of love, energy, and passion. Your heart makes them feel seen and heard–it comforts them, challenges them, and they feel like a better person because they know you.
You are NOT ordinary, babe. There is no other you on the entire planet–act like it. You are special.
