We are a local, Northern Virginia + Washington DC boudoir photography company. We over 7 years of experience we have worked with women to show them their sexier side. The one question everyone wants to know is if we retouch? Yes, we retouch your boudoir photos.
I could retouch you. I could take 50 pounds off, give you perfect skin, smooth every ounce of you, give you more here and less there–have you magazine cover ready in a matter of minutes. But I won’t, because it would be literally wiping away the story of your life.
It sounds so great in theory: Finally seeing the backs of your legs with no cellulite, your boobs and stomach with no stretch marks, an instantly flatter tummy and a thinner chin.
BUT.
You’d wake up tomorrow morning, stand in front of the mirror, and there they’d be–staring back at you like they always do. And you wouldn’t have learned. You wouldn’t have learned to love YOU. You’d have learned to continue to only love the version of yourself that you WISH you were. I want to give you a chance to appreciate all of you; to loosen the grip on the parts of you that you are convinced you hate. I want to help you find freedom within yourself.

I want to photograph you and all of the life you’ve lived. I want to document the scars from battles you have won. To celebrate with you the fact that your body is better BECAUSE of them, not in spite of them.
