Roosh Photography, Take the Leap
Take the leap with boudoir photography. “I want to book a boudoir shoot with you, but I am terrified.” or “I desperately want to attend one of your retreats, but I’m honestly lacking so much confidence and can’t seem to pull the trigger.”
And when I read these messages, my heart breaks. It breaks because it reminds me that I can lead you right up to the water, but I can’t make you drink. I can show you live shoots, do live q&a, show you a zillion images with a ton of different body types, pump you up and cheer you on….but when it’s all said and done, the only person who stands between me and you…is you.
It’s the hardest AND most beautiful part about all of this. You are your greatest strength, the most powerful force in your arsenal–but you are also your greatest enemy and roadblock. You have the power to change your life–whether for bad or for good.
All I can do is remind you that you are good enough, pretty enough, smart enough–and then I have to step back. If I don’t, it can and has eaten me alive. I have to let you win the battle you are having within yourself–I can’t do it for you no matter how badly I want to.
So how do you do it? How do you find your way in front of my lens? It’s really as easy as this: You have to have a WHY that is greater than your FEAR. Your desire to celebrate yourself, find yourself, heal yourself, re-invent yourself, or anything else has to be SO STRONG, that the fear of being in your skivvies pales in comparison to the importance of your WHY.
Every single person who gets in front of my camera walks away saying: “I feel so silly. If only I’d known then what I know now. This is SO MUCH FUN–I spent so much time being nervous and now I have NO IDEA WHY.” Just take the leap and you’ll see for yourself.
I’m always going to be right here waiting for you. But while I do, I wanna throw something semi-morbid on ya. Your life is passing you by. And you wanna know the one thing I don’t want you to experience when you are eighty? Regret. I never want you to say “Man, I wish I had done it. I wonder what could have been different.”
SHOW UP for your freaking life, soul sister. DECIDE, and make the decision NOW. Live your life ALL IN, even if you have to do it afraid. Just take the leap with boudoir photography.
